Dadsnet’s Toy Awards were created so that Dad’s, and their children, can champion the very best baby, toddler & children’s toy brands in the market.

Championed by everyday Dads, accompanied by their children, the Dadsnet toy awards are highly respected in the industry. Growing year on year the toy awards are driven by a group of serious toy testers who spend hours putting the entries through their paces so that only the very best will come out on top.  

Toy brands are recognising the importance of a Dad’s opinion – why? Because dads are influencing purchases and buying toys, especially for birthdays & Christmas, than ever before.


Our research shows that 93% of Dads feel that marketing & advertising is aimed at mums, and 85% of Dads DO NOT feel valued by brands. Yet, we also know that at Christmas, 80% of dads are heavily involved in the shopping.

This year we have 2 BIG changes to the awards:

We’re taking away categories. Why? Well… based on feedback from previous entries, more and more products bridge many categories meaning each entry is pigeon-holed and boxed in. We agree and now, all entries will be scored against themselves based on 3 areas:

Key Information


Can we get a VAT receipt?

Yes. We send out emails once you have entered containing VAT information. However, if you require anything further, once the entries window has closed, get in touch and we’ll help wherever we can. 

Will I get an email confirmation?

Yes. Once you have submitted the entry form, including payment, you will receive an automated email confirming entry.
